Cancellation policy + fees
You must provide 24 hours notice to cancel/reschedule existing appointments. If you do not provide 24 hours notice, you will be charged a $100 cancellation fee. Please contact via phone or e-mail to cancel.
No surprises act/good faith estimate
People who are uninsured or pay out-of-pocket for health services are entitled receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of non-emergency services provided in writing. You may ask for this service before scheduling your first session during the initial 15 minute phone consultation or via e-mail and we will have this provided to you within one business day.
Insurance
We are in network with most Aetna and Optum plans and are considered an out-of-network provider for all other insurance plans.
We can provide a superbill/receipt for you to submit claims for out-of-network providers to your insurance company. We do not guarantee that your insurance company will cover your out-of-network services with us and advise you to call the number on the back of your insurance card to ask about coverage with an out-of-network Licensed Mental Health Counselor provider for psychotherapy sessions so you can understand the full cost to you and what your insurance company requires for reimbursement.
Most therapy sessions are able to apply to your health insurance deductible and you may use a Health Savings Account (HSA) to pay for therapy sessions.
We do not submit superbills or interact with out-of-network insurance companies on behalf of a current or former client.
